The 12th Annual Rifle Gap State Park Ice Fishing Tournament was held January 16-17, 2010. The Colorado Sportsmen Wildlife Fund, Inc. is a co-sponsor of this event each year along with the Rifle Area Chamber of Commerce and Rifle Gap State Park. This is the only annual fund raiser for Colorado Sportsmen Wildlife Fund, Inc.

The 12th Annual Rifle Gap Ice Fishing Tournament was the best yet! We filled up with 400 paid fishermen and 150 youth. Great weather made for a great tournament. The first day of fishing was awesome with plenty of fish hitting the ice. Sunday was slower as we had more cloud cover and a changing barometer.
Overall the contestants had a great time with only one mishap on the ice. The Rifle Chamber did an outstanding job again this year with the tournament.
All the proceeds from the raffles go toward fishing tackle for kids in the Pathway to Fishing program. The program has now surpassed 12,000 kids. Thanks for the support of all those who choose to participate!
